Job Description

We are looking to hire immediately Full-Time Field Security Officers who are responsible, willing and able to provide security at our City of Chicago locations. We have countless positions with secure hours and pay! We are looking for those who are available to work multiple shifts. This person should have observation and reporting skills, a willingness to learn and be trained.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid PERC card and 20-hour training certificate
• Stable and consistent work history
• High School Diploma/GED (must be from an accredited institution)
• Must successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Must have a valid State of Illinois Driver's license or ID
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills

General Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Salary

• Wage by Location ($13.00 /hour) minimum
