SkyTech Security has openings for seasonal Event Officers in the Chicagoland area.
This opportunity is the perfect way to earn money while maintaining a flexible school/work schedule and also gaining work experience in event management and operations.
Job Description:
SkyTech Security Services is seeking dependable and customer service-oriented individuals for the Event Season in Chicago. Security experience is not required. Event Staff must be willing to work in all weather conditions, will maintain an orderly crowd, restrict access to certain areas, prevent theft and risk of injuries all while providing a high level of customer service. SkyTech Security will provide event support services for events such as The Taste of Chicago and The Air and Water Show. SkyTech Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid Illinois Driver's License or ID
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be capable of standing/walking for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift a min. 50 lbs (must be able to push, pull, carry and lift)
- Must be able to work outdoors subject to various weather conditions
- Must be able to sit, twist, turn, bend as required to perform duties at the events
