Urgently Hiring Flex Security Officers on the North and West side of Chicago!! 

If you live in the Maywood, Melrose Park, Elmwood Park, River Grove, Bellwood, Forest Park, Park Ridge, Norridge, and Rosemont area this is a great opportunity for you!

We have immediate openings for unarmed Security Officers at these locations. This person must be at least 21 years of age, have their own vehicle, work weekends, work 2 out the 3 shifts available, be available for last minute call-ins, be able to commute to various site locations, have outstanding customer service skills and held security-related positions in their recent history. In addition, some locations require typing (basic, from the home keys) and experience in badging, so this is a plus.

General Responsibilities:

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Obtains help by sounding alarms.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Maintains the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to work 2 out of the 3 shifts available.
• Must be able to work Weekends.
• Must be able to commute to varies locations
• Must have their own vehicle
• Must have a valid PERC card and a copy of 20-hour training certificate.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen & criminal background check
• Must have a valid State of Illinois ID or Driver's license
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to provide a High School Diploma/GED
